Acceptance of Terms

Please read the following terms and conditions very carefully as your use of this service is subject to your acceptance of and compliance with the following terms and conditions ("Terms").

By subscribing to or using any of our services you agree that you have read, understood and are bound by the Terms, regardless of how you subscribe to or use the services. If you do not want to be bound by the Terms, you must not subscribe to or use our services.

Use of the Website

By accessing the Website or placing an order through the Website, you warrant and represent to the Website owner that you are legally entitled to do so and to make use of services made available via the Website.

We put our best efforts to ensure that the Website is accessible 99.9% of a day. However, we will not be liable for any losses that you may suffer if the Website is unavailable at any time or for any period or your access to the Website is interrupted, restricted or delayed for any reason. Please note that access to the Website may be suspended temporarily and without notice in the case of system failure, maintenance or repair or for any reasons beyond our control.

We give no warranty, express or implied, that your use of the Website or the placing of any order through the Website complies with the laws and regulations of any jurisdiction other than the law of India. Accordingly, any Goods or promotions not permitted under your local law are not offered to you if you are located outside of India.

Privacy Policy

The User hereby consents, expresses and agrees that he has read and fully understands the Privacy Policy of the Website. The user further consents that the terms and contents of such Privacy Policy are acceptable to him.

Price

The prices displayed are inclusive of any sales tax inside Kerala State in India. Prices are liable to change at any time, these changes in price will not affect orders already placed with us. Prices displayed may or may not include the delivery charges, depending on the product and promotions we offer. You are requested to verify these charges before placing an order with us.

Payment Methods

You can pay online using any of our online payment partners by credit or debit card. If you choose to pay using this method, you will be automatically redirected to the online payment service provider's website during the checkout stages of the Website.

Alternatively, you can pay by cheque / Demand Draft or make an Online bank transfer.

Import Duty

If you order Goods from our site for delivery to an address outside India, they may be subject to import duties and taxes which are levied when the delivery reaches the specified destination. You will be responsible for payment of any such import duties and taxes. We are unable to predict such duties and taxes. You are requested to contact your local Customs office for information about these, before placing your order with us.

Further, please also note that you must comply with all applicable laws and regulations of the country for which the products are destined. We will not be liable for any breach by you of any such laws.

Availability

All items are subject to availability. We will inform you as soon as possible if the Goods you have ordered are not available. If the Goods you have ordered are unavailable we will refund the amount paid by you for any particular item, which is not available in stock.

Description of Goods

All descriptions of Goods are displayed and given are true to the best of our knowledge. Since, most of our products are completely made using traditional methods; the colour and size of the product may vary slightly, but within an acceptable tolerance.

We make our best efforts to display all information as accurately as possible on the website. Due to different settings on different computer monitors, the actual colour you see may depending on such settings. We cannot guarantee that the colour you see on your monitor will actually reflect the colour of the product you purchase from us.

If you are concerned about the colour of any product from us, please order a free swatch of the fabric you are interested to buy. Also please note that normal shipping charges are applicable for an order for such free swatches.

Delivery and Postage

Goods will be sent to the address given by you in your order.

Goods will not be dispatched for delivery by us until we have received full payment for the goods, including any applicable delivery charges, in cleared funds.

Orders received through the Website will usually be processed and dispatched within three (3) working days, subject to availability of the Goods.

Cancellation by us

We reserve the right to cancel any order placed with us if there is insufficient stock to deliver the Goods you have ordered, delivery is not made to your area by our shipping partners or any other unforeseen circumstances in which delivery is not possible to your ares.

If we do cancel your order, we will notify you by e-mail and will re-credit to your account the amount deducted by us from your credit or debit card as soon as possible but in any event within thirty (30) days of your order. In the event that payment was made by Cheque / Demand draft or Online bank transfer, we shall re-issue a Cheque to you for the full amount. We will not be obliged to offer any compensation in respect of this cancellation.

Cancellation by you

You may cancel your order with us at any time within fourteen (14) working days, beginning on the day after you receive the Goods. The right to terminate and cancel shall not apply to orders for Goods made to your specifications. If we do not receive notification of cancellation from you within fourteen (14) working days from you, your request to cancel the order will be rejected.

To request cancellation of your order, you must notify us in writing to store@countryweaves.com

The goods returned to us should be in the same condition in which you receive them, together with all accessories, packaging, instruction and any coupons included. If you fail to do so, we may have a right to take action against your for compensation.

In an event of order cancellation by you, you will receive the full amount paid by you for the goods in accordance with our Returns and Refund Policy.

Returns and Refunds Policy

We reserve the right to refuse to accept returned Goods not in their original condition, at our sole discretion.

Please note that all returns of Goods are made at your own cost and risk until they are returned safely to us. Therefore, we recommend our customers to send the Goods by Reputed Courier Service or mail service with an insurance coverage.

International customers should send goods via prepaid and insured courier service having online tracking system.

Customers should clearly mark on the package as Returned Goods to avoid any Customs or Sales tax clearance issues.

Goods returned by you within the fourteen (14) working days and in accordance with these Terms will be refunded in full, including the cost of sending the item to you.

We will let you know as soon as we receive the Goods and will start the refund process only after verification of the returned goods.

You can request a refund, or a replacement for the returned goods.

A refund will be credited back to the payment card used to pay for the original purchase or we shall issue a cheque to you.

In the case of refunds, we will initiate the process within 2 days from the date of receipt of returned goods at our warehouse. Banks normally take 4-5 business days to process a refund once it has been successfully initiated from our end.

We will let you know as soon as the refund has been processed.

Liability

If the Goods we deliver are not what you ordered or are damaged or faulty or the delivery is of an incorrect quantity, we shall have no liability to you unless you notify us in writing in accordance with of the problem within five (5) working days of the delivery of the Goods in question.

If you do not receive Goods ordered by you within thirty (30) days of the date on which you ordered them, we shall have no liability to you unless you notify us of the problem in writing at our contact address or by sending an email to store@countryweaves.com within forty (40) days of the date on which you ordered the Goods.

You must observe and comply with all applicable regulations and legislation, including obtaining all necessary customs, import or other permits to purchase Goods from our Website. The importation or exportation of certain of our Goods to you may be prohibited by certain national laws. We make no representation and accept no liability in respect of the export or import of the Goods you purchase.
